It’s important to prioritise the briefing of all front facing staff to ensure they are aware of the current marketing campaigns; whether this is housekeeping or maintenance staff they need to be clear what incentives/discounts are available if students want to re-book and they can clearly direct students on how to book. If there are any printed flyers available, it’s always useful to have these available for any staff to refer to in case they receive any relevant queries as they go about their day to day tasks.

The Accommodation/Site team should brief each relevant front facing teams with the key elements of each campaign and allow an opportunity for questions to be raised so they are clear what tone/message they are sharing with students on this process. It is also worth sharing the progress of the campaign at regular intervals to demonstrate how they are supporting the overall target working towards the particular target of the current campaign both in person and displayed in the relevant staff break areas.
